Description Image shows a rectangular wooden frame that is being used in the construction of a culvert. The frame is boarded over at one end, which would help trap the warm air produced by drying concrete and help protect the drying concrete from the cool outside air. The image was taken near where Virginia State Route 43 crosses Little Stony Creek, near milepost 86 and Section 1K of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Taken on January 9, 1948.
