Description Image shows men working at a construction site. They are placing boards along the top of a concrete culvert. The structure is likely being covered to help trap the warm air produced by drying concrete, and to help protect the drying concrete from the cool outside air. The image was taken near where Virginia State Route 43 crosses over Little Stony Creek, near milepost 86 and Section 1K of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Taken on January 9, 1948.
