Description Color Drawing of Perspective of Proposed Park to Park Highway through North Carolina; one of several maps developed by R. Getty Browning's office at the North Carolina State Highway and Public Works Commission in 1934 to support North Carolina's campaign to win the southern end of the Parkway route. Includes a variety of sights along the proposed parkway including Cumberland Knob, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Gorge, Mt. Mitchell, French Broad River, Mt. Pisgah, and Yellow Stone Falls.
