    The Franklin County World War Two memorial plaque is a rectangular bronze tablet with a darkened background. The tablet is unadorned aside from a small American eagle between the dates 1941 and 1944 near the top. The approximate size is two feet wide and four feet high.

    The World War II memorial plaque is located on the front wall of the Franklin County Courthouse at 102 N. Main St., Louisburg, NC. The Vietnam War memorial plaque is next to it. The memorial First Confederate Flag and Its Designer O.R. Smith stands in front of the courthouse.
