Highlands Veterans Memorial and Garden, Highlands
The Veterans Memorial consists of a bronze plaque attached to a narrow upright natural boulder that stands approximately five feet tall. The simple bronze plaque is approximately two feet by three feet with a darkened background.
The memorial stands in a roughly U-shaped garden that wraps around the parking area between the Highlands Town Hall and Highlands Police Department. Running from the parking area to the memorial marker is a walk formed of memorial bricks. Each brick has a veteran’s name, branch of service and dates of service.
