    The monument is composed of three bronze statues represent two females and one male athletes. The first statue depicts a female sprinter breaking through the tape at the finish line. The second depicts a male runner jumping a hurdle. The third depicts a female athlete about to release her javelin. All three statues picture the athletes in motion.
