LORDS OF TRADE TO THE KING 3 FEBRUARY 1729/30.

To the King's most excellent Majty

May it please Your Majesty

Your Majesty having been pleased to appoint a Governor over your Province of North Carolina We take leave to represent to Your Majesty that a public seal will be necessary for sealing all public instruments there according to the method practised in all other Your Maj. Colonies in America, We therefore most humbly propose that Your Maj. may be pleased to order a public seal for the said Province accordingly
