To the first. That the Books or Papers now shewn him & marked No. 1—No. 2 are to the best of this Repondent's knowledge and belief the Books or accounts sent to Eleazer Allen Esqre late Receiver General being Copies of some of the Records kept in this Respondent's Office.

To the second. That this respondent cannot positively answer as he is now far from home and can't examine the records which are now at the House of this respondent.
