No Carolina

To his Excellency Arthur Dobs Esqr Captain General Governor and Commander in Chief in and over the Said province.

The Humble petetion of that part of No Carolina called Orange County, Humbly Sheweth, that whereas by some misfortune the Inhabitance thereof hath not hitherto had the privoledge to Chose for that County Representetives and the Said County now but in its Infantcy and the Publick building not yet done we humbly pray your Excellency will be pleased to grant us a Writ for Electing Burgeses for Said County and your Petetioners as in duty bound shall ever pray &c.
