He has formed the Virg'a Forces as follows: Two Compa's of Carpenters, chose from the whole; four Compa's of Rangers, and one Compa. of light Horse, and w't may rem'n and are suitable, are to Augm't the two Regim'ts from Irel'd. He has been so busy since he came here that he has not fully fix'd the Gen'l Plan of Operat's, but in Discourse with him I find it will be very proper, and pretty much on the Scheme we talk'd of when [you were] here. He is (I think) a very fine Officer, and a sencible, considerate Gent. I wish Y'r Son with his Co'y was arrived. I send You a Packet from Mr. Abercrombie, to w'ch please be referred for News.
