Know all men by these Presents that We Robert Palmer Francis Corbin Esqrs & Alexander Stewart are held and firmly bound unto Our Sovereign Lord the King His heirs and Successors, for the Use of the Province aforesaid in the full and just Sum of Five hundred pounds proclamation money for the which Payment well and truly to be made We bind Ourselves and Heirs Executors and Administrators firmly by these presents In Witness whereof We have hereunto Set our hands & Seals this day of April 1758.
The Condition of this Obligation is Such that if the above bounden Robt Palmer Shall duely and Faithfully discharge the Duty as Receiver of the Powder and lead in the Port of Bath to which he is appointed, and from time to time and as often as required deliver into the Governor Council and Assembly of this Province a true list of all Ships or Vessels which shall enter in the Port aforesaid with the Burthen of Tons and a true & perfect account of the Quantity of Powder, and Shot or lead he shall receive on Account of the Duty aforesaid, Then this Obligation to be void, otherwise Remain in full force & Virtue.
