Letter from William Tryon to Jacob Lobb
Tryon, William, 1729-1788
February 22, 1766
Volume 07, Page 184

Sir

In answer to your Letter I can only observe, that as you have thought it expedient to Redress the Grievances which were the pretended Cause of the Town of Wilmington withholding the necessary Provisions for His Majesty's Sloops; I should imagine the Contractors Agent would meet with obstruction at present in obtaining the requisite supply. If the Provisions are not brought to the Viper to Morrow I desire you will inform me by a Line

I am Sir &c
