Letter from the Board of Trade to the King.

May it please your Majesty,

There being two vacancies in your Majesty's Council of the Province

of North Carolina and Thomas McGwire Esqre your Majesty's Attorney General together with Willie Jones Esqre having been recommended to Us as persons every [way] qualified to serve your Majesty in that Station, We beg leave humbly to propose that the said two gentlemen may be appointed of your Majesty's said Council.
