Proceedings of the Safety Committee in Pitt County.
Martinborough May 20th 1775.
The Committee then met. Present, John Simpson, chairman; John Hardee, Robert Salter, James Gorham, James Lockheart, James Armstrong, James Lanier, William Robeson, Amos Atkinson, Benjamin May, William Bryant & Edmond Williams.
Resolved That John Tison be advertised in the public papers.
The Committee then adjourned to the 27th of this Inst.
