The Court met according to order. David Cowler was brought before the Court on Suspicion of being a Spy. No Evidence appearing

to Support the Charge, they do judge it proper he Should remain in Confinement untill Evidence can be procured, or the further pleasure of his Excellency the Govr. is known.
