Note.—Besides the foregoing accounts of Taxes the State of North Carolina is charged in the Books with the sum of 2,709,792.9-90 Dollars—old emissions advanced them from November, 1775, to April, 1781; and also with 7,400 Dollars—new emission in 1781. Whether this State hath any Account against the Union to Counterbalance, this I do not know.
