Halifax, March 16th, 1782.

Sir:

Major Hogg will have Occasion for several Continental Officers to assist him on the Service which I mentioned to you and which

he will farther Explain to you. I request you to give him such of the Gentlemen as you deem can be best spared from the Service in Camp, and you will thereby much Oblige
