Sirs:
Inclosed is a Return of my Brigade; you requested a Return showing how many of each Draft are in Service and also when their times will expire. As to the number of each draft in Service, I cannot now inform you, because the greater part of my Command were detached the day after I reached this place. The Time of the first Drafts will expire on the 25th Inst.; the Second on the 5th day of next Month, and the last Draft the 15th of next Month. Not only part of my Command are without Cartouch Boxes, but a Majority of the Militia now in Service. I have no certain accounts of the Enemy since they left the Cross Roads, over Fishing Creek, but a report prevails now in Camp, that they have crossed Broad River.
The Tories are surrendering themselves to the Justices of this and the adjoining Counties. I believe they would be good Subjects, if they could be pardoned.
