Letter from Thomas Kelly to Thomas Burke.

Dublin March 13th 1774.

Dr Sr

I am requested by Mr Feltus who married the Daughter of Mr Adam Bloomfield, and who is his admr., to write to you in his favr and Entreat your kind offices for him, and thou I think it Unnecessary from the friendly part you have already taken for that family and which I doubt not you will from your first motive Continue to them, yet I Cold not refuse beging your most Diligent attention to their affairs.

It gives me great pleasure to find by a letter from you which I saw, yt you are well settled in that Country, and I was Easily perswaded to write to you in hopes it may produce an ansr Confirming that record.

There is no materl variation in your family Since you left this Country but yt yr Cousn Thos Burke and John Burke the son of yr mother's Cousn Thos have settled all family Disputes, and yt the Tyaguin Estate is given up to John, paying Thos £500 a yr. I am sure you will be sorry to hear that my Brother John is Dead.

Mr Feltus Sends you the Necessary papers to execute his claim there. I had not time to give any Directions abt them, but if they are not Sufft for the purpose you can mention to him particularly what fur powers or evidence you require & he will procure them.
