Warrant appointing John Ricusset Esqre to be a Councillor in North Carolina.

13. May 1752.

By their Excellencies the Lords Justices

We being well satisfed of the Loyalty integrity and Ability of John Ricusset Esq do hereby in His Majesty's name direct and require you forthwith upon the Receipt hereof to swear and admit him the said John Ricusset to be one of His Majesty's Council in His Majesty's Province of North Carolina. And for so doing this shall be your warrant Given at Whitehall the     Day of     in the twenty fifth year of His Majesty's Reign.

To Gabriel Johnston Esqre His Majesty's Governor of the Province of North Carolina. in America, and in his Absence to the Commander in Chief or to the President of His Majesty's Council of the said province for the time beings.
