Nathaniel Hunt (b. 1823) of Pittsylvania County, VA, was the son of Eustace and Eliza Glenn Hunt. He was a student for only the 1841-1842 academic year, then became a farmer on the Dan River (Glenn Family Papers #277, Southern Historical Collection, Wilson Library, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill).
