Taken shorty before the War. The brother, William H. Mosby, joined the command in 1863 at the age of 18, and was later Mosby's Adjutant. He is shown in the uniform of a Military School.

This picture is a copy of one taken in Richmond in January 1863: The uniform is the one I wore on March 8th 1863 on the night of General Stoughton's capture
