Planning to deal with the next disaster without government meddling

Easter and Cavenaugh describe what they would do if they were faced with another flood. The northeast community is holding meetings to help educate residents about flood preparation, but Easter and Cavenaugh have their own plans: they will do what they can to protect the contents of the homes and afterwards they will refuse any assistance in removing items from their home.
