Hurricane Floyd's flooding is worse than a 1962 flood

Charles English remembers the 1962 flood, which was not nearly as devastating as the flooding Floyd caused. One difference Charles noticed is how the floodwaters wiped out the vegetation in a nearby swamp. He suspects contaminants did the job.
