Help comes from church groups, not from FEMA

This passage reveals how unhelpful the Federal Emergency Management Agency was to some flood victims. Jenny and Aaron Cavenaugh describe their efforts at cleanup. FEMA told them they could salvage much of their home and turkey houses, which turned out to be unsalvageable. Genuine help came from local church groups and others who donated their time to help cleanup and recovery efforts.
