Relying on local assistance for flood relief

Jenny and Aaron Cavenaugh describe how church groups and other community members helped them rebuild, including a local car dealer who lent them a truck. When the Cavenaughs describe receiving help from outside sources, they consistently refer to local, individual assistance rather than government help.
