Raleigh January 14th 1803
On this day W. Alves, the Treasurer, did deliver over to us 705 tickets of the Lottery No. 2, being those on hand and belonging to the University at the time of drawing the said Lottery. He also at the same time delivered over & paid to us the prize Tickets, & for the foregoing account, amounting to Three Thousand six hundred and seventy two Dollars ($3672 after the deduction of 15 cent. Also in Counterfeit Money to amount of sixty one Dollars and in Vouchers of expenditure to amount of $15 4/5 Making in the whole Seven Thousand two hundred & seventy three Dollars 97 cents ($7273.97 s the above acct. for $ Dollars of the Counterfeit acquired of G. Lea.
