P. C. Cameron Esq.

Dear Sir

We had a storm Saturday the 20th, almost amounting to a tornado. The tin roof of the New East building was taken off. I have had the old tin replaced as well as it could be done. The Phi. Library & the Hall below are liable to be much injured, it will require immediate attention.
It might be best that you should send Mr Laws down to estimate what is best to be done. I have written Mr Battle .
One tree blown down in the Campus, & many elsewhere, one chimney in the village and several small houses.

in haste
Yours truly

A. Mickle
