                        in the said <name key="name0000745" reg="North Carolina" type="place">State</name>, having this day presented to the <name key="name0000107" reg="Board of Trustees" type="organization">Trustees</name> for the Use
                        of the Students of the <name key="name0001146" reg="University of North Carolina" type="organization">University of
                            North Carolina</name> Thirty two Volumes of well bound and well chosen
                        Books; Resolved that the <name key="name0000107" reg="Board of Trustees" type="organization">Trustees</name> do thankfully accept them, and that
                        the <name key="x" reg="x" type="person" rend=""><!-- This is Samuel Ashe, but he as yet has no name key -->President of
                            the Board</name> be requested to inform <name key="pn0003022" reg="Bennehan, Richard" type="person">M<hi rend="sup">r</hi>.
                        Bennehan</name> that they have a due sense of the worth of such his valuable
                        donation and that they will cause mention thereof to be made in the Book
                        kept for that purpose. </p>
