Gov<hi rend="sup">r</hi> <name key="pn0000604" reg="Graham, William Alexander" type="person">Graham</name> & Mess<hi rend="sup">rs</hi> Henry, Gales, <name key="pn0000218" reg="Bryan, John Herritage" type="person">Bryan</name>, <name key="pn0000745" reg="Hinton, Charles L." type="person">Hinton</name>, <name key="pn0003106" reg="Iredell, James" type="person">Iredell</name>, & <name key="pn0001074" reg="Manly, Charles" type="person">Manly</name>.</p> <p>On motion<lb/>Be it ordained &c:<lb/>That the price of board at the several boarding houses in the <name key="name0000165" reg="Chapel Hill, NC" type="place" rend="yes">village</name> shall not exceed Ten Dollars a month: and the Faculty are hereby authorized & instructed to prohibit any student from boarding at any house when this price is exceeded.</p> <p>On motion<lb/>Ordered that <name key="pn0000218" reg="Bryan, John Herritage" type="person">John H. Bryan</name> be allowed the sum of Fifty Dollars as a fee for professional services rendered in aiding the Solicitor of the State for <name key="name0000804" reg="Orange County, NC" type="place" rend="yes">Orange</name> Superior Court in prosecuting certain offenders for misdemeanors committed at <name key="name0000165" reg="Chapel Hill, NC" type="place">Chapel Hill</name>.</p> </div1> </body> </text> </TEI.2>
