The Courts Commission published the above Members take & Subscribe to the Oaths appointed by Law upon Peticon of Hannah Maudlin

Orderd that lres of Administrac̄on be Granted to the Peticonr as nearest of kin to the Estate of Ezekiel Maudlin & that the same be apprised by Lawrence Megue Saml Phelps Francis Beesley & Joseph Sutten, Sutten Jun & that an Inventory thereof be returnd to the next prcinct Court.

A Deed of Sale from Francis Wells to Gabriel Nuby & Orderd to be recorded.

A Deed of Sale from David Harris to Daniell Jones & Elizabeth his wife relinquishes her Right of Dower to the land specified in the sd Deed.

An Assignmt of a Deed of Sale Acknowledged in Court from Tho: Snoden to John Flowers Jun.

A power of Attorney from Constance Snoden to Tho: Snoden provd by oath of Willm̄ Long.

Thomas Portis arrested to answer the Complt of John Clarke Attorney of Robt Montfort Attorney of Willm̄ Bird Esqr for the sume of nyne pounds by Bill and the plt came not.

Orderd that the acc̄on be dismist & the plt pay Costs als Exo.

Upon Peticon of James Morgan & Jane his wife

Orderd That Nathaniel Nicholson be one of the apprisors of the Estate of John Anderson decd in the stead & room of Dennis Macclendon decd

Thomas Houghton arrested to answer the Complt of Francis Beesley in a Plea of the Case for one pound two shillings & Six Pence by acct and the Deft prayes a reference to the next prcinct which is Granted

Orderd that Ralph Boasman be Constable for the year Ensuing & that he be att the next prcinct Court to take the Oaths appointed by Law.

Orderd that he be thereunto Impowered by a warrt to him directed.

A Power of Attorney from Peter Baudry to Thomas Snoden prov'd in Court by the Oath of Willm̄ Long & Ordered to be recorded.

A Power of Attorney from John Clarke to Thomas Snoden prov'd by the Oath of John Falconr

Orderd That John Parish Francis Beesley & Saml Phelps be packers for this prcinct & that they be Limitted as followeth vizt That John Parish be packer from the Head of Little River to the mouth thereof & Soe round up Pequimins River to Lillyes Creek And That Francis Beesley & Saml Phelps be packers for the remainder of the prcinct & that the aforesd Packers be & repair to the next prcinct Court & there take the Packers Oath appointed by Law.

Orderd That Saml Phelps keep the Toll Booke att the Head of Pequimins River & that he be & appear att the next prcinct Court to take the Oaths appointed by Law.

Orderd that this Court be adjourned till the 2d Tuesday in August next Ensuinge to the House of James Thickpen in Pequimins River & That all process be directed thereto.
