North Carolina Hillsborough District Ss—March Term 1771.
The persons who style themselves Regulators & under the conduct of Herman Husband, James Hunter, Rednap Howell, William Butler, Samuel Deviney, & others, broke up the Court at September Term last, still continuing their rioutous meetings and severely threatening the Judges, Lawyers and other officers of the Court, prevented any of the Judges or Lawyers attending.
Therefore the Court continues adjourned till September Term next 1771.
