Letter from Colonel John Harvey.

Perquimans Coy. Feby. 11th, 1775.

Dear Sir,

Our Assembly now stands prorogued to the 27th March, I therefore loose no time to request your County will ellect Delegates to Represent them in Convention which are desired to meet in the

town of Newbern on Monday the third day of April next, That we may Act in conformity with our neighbouring Colonies & ellect Deputies to attend the General Congress at Philadelphia on the tenth day of May next which hope will meet your approbation.
