Proceedings of the Safety Committee in Pitt County.
Martinborough, 27th May 1775.
The Committee then met.
Present: John Simpson, chairman; John Hardee, James Lanier, William Robeson, James Lockheart, Amos Atkinson, Benja May, James Armstrong, William Bryant.
The Chairman recd for the use of the town of Boston from Willm Robeson 12s, from Wm Bryant, John Evans & Avent Pope 20s, James Robeson 1s.
The Committee then adjourned till the 10th June Next.
