Letter from President Rutledge, of South Carolina, to the President of the North Carolina Congress at Halifax.
Sir:
In Consequence of a Recommendation from the Privy Council, the honourable Mr Drayton, a Member of that Board, waits on the
Convention of North Carolina, to sollicit Aid of Men from that State for the Defence of this.I doubt not that proper Attention will be paid to his Application, & hope it will meet with success. I am Sir,
