Whereas our trusty and welbeloved Enoch Hall Esqre our Chief Justice in our Province of North Carolina in America hath humbly prayed us to grant him our Royal Licence to be absent for the space of eighteen months from our said Province for recovery of his health We are graciously pleased to condescend to his request and accordingly do by these presents give and grant unto him the said Enoch Hall our full and free leave Licence and permission to be absent from our said Province for and during the Term of eighteen months as aforesaid to be computed from the day of the date hereof And so we bid you farewell.
