Blue Banks, November 21st, 1780.

To His Excellency, Abner Nash, Esq.
Dear Sir:

Pardon me for taking the liberty of recommending to you the Bearer hereof, Mr. William Gibbs, the Treasurer of the Loand office of South Carolina; he has been here for some time with the Loan Office Certificates. He has heard that there is a Flag going from New Bern to Charles Town, and is very desirous of going in her to see his Family.

Mrs. Dry joins me in our best Compliments to your good Lady & the Young Family.
