MRS. PINCKNEY TO GENERAL GATES.
Mrs. Pinckney presents her compliments to General Harrington & encloses him two papers of James's Powders, with a paper of directions. Mrs. Pinckney hopes the General finds himself better today.
WEDNESDAY.
Mrs. Pinckney receives the powders in a phial from England, which is the reason that they are not in blue papers as mentioned in the directions.
