State of North Carolina.

Permission is hereby granted to Sir Peter Skipwith or his Agents to purchase within the said State horned cattle and to drive the same therefrom to the quarters and cantonments of the Troops of

His most Christian Majesty; all such cattle by him or his Agents purchased, to be free from restraint, seizure or impressment, provided that persons from whom the same shall have been purchased, shall have respectively supplied their due proportion of the contributions required for furnishing the Army.
