Hillsborough, November 16th, 1782.

Sir:

The Assembly having failed to meet at this place agreeable to their adjournment, the many arduous and important subjects proper for their discussion, demand the immediate attention of the Executive, and the attendance of the Council of State. I therefore request your attendance at this place on Thursday the 21st Day of this Instant, to deliberate and advise on the same.
