GOV. THOS. BURKE TO GOV. HARRISON OF VA.

Halifax, March 22d, 1782.

Dr Sir:

I have here fallen in with some of our Waggons on their Way to bring Some Arms, which We are Informed are lodged in your Stores for Us. One of our delegates has announced the Order of Congress and, I suppose, has transmitted it. But not finding it

among the papers given by our Quarter Master General to the Conductor, I fear there is some Inaccuracy which might prevent the Obtaining the Arms. I request the favor of you, Sir, to order the particulars to be delivered on the paper which will be produced. I promise you that I will Send every Necessary Voucher as soon as I Can make the requisite Enquiries.
