Kingston, June 21st, 1786.
Sir:
Your letter of the 30th of last month I had the honor to receive, and in compliance therewith you have enclosed a Copy of a Proclamation issued by my predecessor in office, and a copy of an Act to
restore Mr. Bridgen his Estate. These are the only acts of the Legislature and Executive powers of this State, in consequence of the definitive Treaty of Peace, between the United States of America and Great Britain, and the recommendation of Congress thereupon that I at present recollect.I have the honor to be, Sir,
