North Carolina, July 9th, 1786.
Sir:
I am honored with your letters of the 1st of June, enclosing a state of the representation in Congress for April and May; 6th June announcing the appointment of his Excellency Nathaniel Gorham, President; and the 9th June enclosing two copies of the continuation of the Journal from the 3rd of March to the 2nd of June; and also two Copies of the Treaty of Commerce between the United States and the King of Prussia.
