Description | Image shows a concrete culvert that is under construction. One wall of the culvert has many wooden boards leaned against it, and there are many more boards piled up on the bottom of the culvert, and on the ground outside of the culvert. There are rocks and brush on the ground as well, and along one side of the culvert a small stream appears to be flowing. The image was taken near where Virginia State Route 43 crosses Little Stony Creek, near milepost 86 and Section 1K of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Taken on December 22, 1947. |
