| Description | The map shows a preliminary architectural plan for Bridge Site No. 3, at Station 582+76.5, Project 1T, for the Shenandoah Great Smoky Mountains Parkway. The map was created by R.G.H. in January of 1936. It shows the current and proposed ground lines with detailed measurements and drawings of the intended bridge. A handwritten note at the bottom right edge of the map states that, "Due to change in required water area this plan was not used, but a culvert was substituted - see final plans. Also see IT 1054." |
