Description Continued from page 1 of 2 Article reporting on the decision of Eastern Band Of Cherokee chief Jarrett Blythe to not hold an election to vote on the Federal proposal to exchange Smoky Mountain land for the Blue Ridge Parkway right-of-way through Soco Valley. Blythe is reported as having canceled the election due to perceived "misinformation" among the tribe members. Also mentions vice chief Fred Bauer as having instigated the opposition to the proposal.
