Description Reports on the State Highway Commission's support of a compromised middle route across Grandfather Mountain and the commission's support of an exchange right-of-way land with Hugh Morton -- owner of Grandfather Mountain. The proposal offers Morton 250 acres of land along Yonahlassee Trail for 400 acres of land at a higher point on Grandfather Mountain. The National Park Service has yet to support the compromise.
