Description Photograph shows a stone culvert over a stream in section 2A of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Commentary The culvert here was constructed as a tunnel for a stream or drainage channel that crossed the parkway. It was laid down with rocks from the area to cut costs during Parkway construction. This particularly culvert is located around station 517 in section 2A.
