Title Dressed Slopes and Road Intersection
Date October 29, 1936
Description Photograph shows people walking, a piece of farm equipment, and multiple small buildings near an unpaved road intersection in section 2A of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Commentary This picture shows an almost completed portion of the parkway with dressed slopes traveling through farmland. It is interesting that there is a road intersection because the parkway was designed to make sure that there would not be many intersections between the Blue Ridge Parkway and other roads in the nearby vicinity.
