Commentary | Jeffress Park is named after the 1934 chairman of the North Carolina State Highway Commission who helped to place the Blue Ridge Parkway in its current location. This 600-acre park provides a drinking fountain, picnic tables, restrooms, and the Cascades Nature Trail. |
